Circle Activities


The majority of stamp varieties occur in stamp books. 'The Bookmark' Catalogue of British Decimal Postage Stamp Books, published by MBPC, has become a worldwide reference and its nomenclature for panes and books is widely used by dealers and other catalogues. It is currently being updated to be reissued in parts.


Postal auctions of membersí material are held every two months. A typical auction, open only to Circle members, would contain around 1,000 lots. Auctions include material from the Wilding period to the very latest Royal Mail issues. The whole of the range of the Circle's interests is covered by rotation within the Circle year.

The next Circle meeting will be held on Sunday 30th September 2018 and will include the A.G.M.

It will be held at the Dunchurch Village Hall Meals and directions can be had by contacting Dave Threadgold (   01277 655 389)

IThere are tables and chairs in the function room and they are not required to be put in a cupboard at the end of the meeting. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available in the room. You are welcome to use the Bar when it is open. A buffet lunch will be provided for those who require it, but numbers will be needed in advance. (T
